USC Football Team/Song Girl Relay at SWM USC 2010

The wait is almost over! The 31st Annual Swim With Mike at USC is this Saturday, April 16th, starting at 8am. Below is the event schedule and some highlights for 2011. Admission and Parking are free of charge.

Event Highlights:

Food: The traditional Swim With Mike barbecue opens at noon. The cost is $15. Participants who raised at least $50 eat for free. The Wienerschnitzel truck will also be at the event selling hot dogs to benefit the Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund. There will also be a snack bar with water, sodas, and snacks for sale.

Walk Run ‘N Roll: For participants who don’t want to swim or want to try something new, the Walk, Run ‘N Roll offers an alternative way to pledge time and get sponsors to support the Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund. This new event will take place during the first half of SWM USC, just across the street from the swim stadium at Cromwell field. Come watch the USC ROTC groups and the Department of Public Safety teams, who will be competing against each other, and be sure to check out the music, contests, speakers and other fun surprises. Mike Nyeholt will speak at 10:30 am to kick off the competitions.

USC Football/Song Girl Relay: The traditional inner tube race featuring the USC Football Team and the World Famous USC Song Girls will happen again–but this year with an exciting new addition! For the first time ever there will be a coaches lane in the competition, along with the usual seven lanes of players. Be sure not to miss this special event at noon.
