Chase was born in Fresno and spent time playing organized sports like baseball, soccer and spent a lot of time in the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains skiing and snowboarding in the winter and waterskiing, wakeboarding and mountain biking in the summer. When he was ten years old his Mom got a new job in Southern California and the family packed up and moved to Orange County. He adapted quickly to surfing, skimboarding, and skateboarding. As a teenager, Chase was introduced to competitive paintball which he was very skilled at. He played baseball but eventually ended up concentrating on soccer. On to San Francisco State for college where Chase majored in Cinema Production receiving his BA. in 2013. Three years later Chase was in an automobile accident that resulted in an incomplete spinal cord injury at the T-5 level. Chase attended USC to complete his master’s degree in TV and Film production, graduating with an M.F.A. in Cinema Arts in Fall 2020.
