Zack Wentz

Zack grew up playing baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, and tennis but he was always most passionate about tennis. As a freshman at Menlo Atherton High School he was MVP of the tennis team and a league champion. As a sophomore he spent a semester in Switzerland attending an American school focused on skiing, hiking, biking, and climbing in addition to rigorous academics. After returning home, a blood clot engendered from a simple fall while abroad resulted in T1 paraplegia. After three months in the hospital Zack returned to school within a week and while he was unable to graduate with his class as he missed an entire semester he excelled in the classroom. In sports he switched gears to play table tennis and wheelchair tennis and made the Paralympic Team for the US Open. Zack is majoring in Economics, and is a member of the Trojan Knights. He is a passionate musician who enjoys making beats, rapping, and playing the piano.
