12Prior to his career at USC, Doug was an avid skier until his leg was amputated due to cancer. He went on to be vice president of the nonprofit organization Amputee Coalition of America and is now a member of their general counsel. Doug led the development and implementation of the ACA’s advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. to secure government support in increasing the quality of life among amputees.
