Ellie graduated from the Whitman College of Business at Syracuse University after attending Ithaca College where she was on the Varsity Crew and New York University. Prior to a spinal cord injury at the T12, L1 and L4 levels she competed in basketball, soccer, lacrosse, track, and rowing. “The Swim with Mike Scholarship means a lot to me because of the strength and confidence that the individuals that are a part of the program have for me and the other recipients, knowing that we can persevere and continue on with our lives regardless of our disabilities. It means so much to me to be a part of the Swim With Mike family and to join a group of people who share the same positive attitude and determination in life. I am very thankful for the generosity and commitment of the members and donors of the Swim With Mike Foundation in contributing to my education.”
