Joseph Seidman

Joe, a Southern California kid enjoyed playing hockey, basketball and baseball and Roller Hockey for Moorpark High School. A car accident in May of 2005 resulted in traumatic brain injuries leading to left side Hemiparalysis. Initially, he was unable to walk but through extensive rehabilitation, he was able to regain mobility however he still has left side weakness all around and limited mobility in the left arm and no mobility in the left hand. Joe matriculated at the University of California, Santa Barbara in June of 2006 and went on to complete a major in Psychology with a minor in Sports Management in the Spring of 2009. While unable to play hockey he worked on campus as the hockey coordinator for Recreational Sports. Joe hopes to follow up with a Masters degree in Sports Management or Clinical Psychology after getting some work experience.
