Mark was a high school track star. He went on to study Broadcast Journalism at USC where he was honored as the October model for the 1986 “Men of USC” calendar. A few short weeks after graduating with his Bachelor of Arts in 1987 Marc was shot in the leg as part of a gang initiation. Near death, after complications and infections, Marc’s leg was amputated. Thanks to a scholarship from Swim With Mike, Marc went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Gould School of Law at USC in 1994. Marc started his own boutique law firm shortly after passing the California Bar. He specializes in music, sports-related transactions, and management Marc has worked on various boards and commissions geared toward helping people realize their potential such as the Board of Trustees at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and is the president of the Inglewood Partners for Progress, a group comprised of the five largest businesses in the city. He is on the Board of Directors for Forum Enterprises, Inc., owner of the 17,505- seat arena and former home of the Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa app[ointed Little to the City of Los Angeles’ Commission for Children, Youth and their Families in 2008 and then to the Commission for Community and Family Services in 2010 where he serves as president. Little also sits on the Diversity Community Council for media giant News Corporation/Fox, the Advisory Board of the Westside Pregnancy Clinic in Los Angeles, and the Governing Board of Centinela Hospital Medical Center. Marc also oversees the business affairs for Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood and it’s for-profit interests such as The Forum. He is a founding member of Crown Preparatory Academy.
